Let us muse today from Colossians 2:7 an\u00a0\u00a0another of Paul’s pictures of progress<\/em>. We are told here if we are to make progress in the Christian life we must be like a rooted\u00a0tree<\/em>. The word rooted means a once for all planting. When God plants a tree in Christ it is forever planted. We are told in Psalms 1 that he plants by the rivers of water. These rivers are pictures of the word of God. He\u00a0 trees must have the water of the word. He says when they get that water, they shall bring forth fruit, their leaf shall not wither, and whatsoever they do it shall prosper. I sure am rejoicing\u00a0today that I have been rooted\u00a0in Christ.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
