If we are to have heaven on earth there must be<em><strong> a setting\u00a0practice<\/strong><\/em>. Paul speaks of the\u00a0thought,<em><strong> set your affections on things above<\/strong><\/em>. The word set means\u00a0fix the eye\u00a0\u00a0upon one position. David said, my heart is\u00a0fixed on the\u00a0Oh God, and\u00a0I am\u00a0trusting\u00a0 in Thee. The word\u00a0\u00a0affections is one&#8217;s feelings, emotions, desires, wishes, and wants. Paul says to set them all, on\u00a0things above and not on the earth. If we set our affections on things around us we will do nothing but<em><strong> worry<\/strong><\/em>.
