{"id":1561,"date":"2010-07-01T11:13:00","date_gmt":"2010-07-01T11:13:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tomgilliam.wordpress.com\/?p=1271"},"modified":"2023-09-01T00:28:17","modified_gmt":"2023-09-01T00:28:17","slug":"a-seeing-practice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tomgilliam.com\/?p=1561","title":{"rendered":"A Seeing Practice"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Let us\u00a0muse again today from Colossians 3:3-4 and\u00a0our thoughts\u00a0on<em><strong> heaven to go to heaven in<\/strong><\/em>. If we are to know heaven on earth we must enter into<em><strong>\u00a0a seeing\u00a0practice<\/strong><\/em>. We must see in verse three<em><strong> the past work of Christ<\/strong><\/em> on the cross. Paul tells us that Christ not only\u00a0died for us as a substitute, but we\u00a0died with Him in identification. The past work also <strong>hid\u00a0our life in Christ<\/strong>. When the spiritual world looks at\u00a0us they only see Christ, and no one dare touch Him. In verse four we see<em><strong> the future work of Christ<\/strong><\/em> on the cross. When Christ comes we will appear in the state of already being<em><strong> glorified<\/strong><\/em>, just like Him. When we take this past and\u00a0future work\u00a0and live them\u00a0in the present, we find that we are truly<em><strong> complete in Christ<\/strong><\/em> and have heaven to go to heaven in.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Let us\u00a0muse again today from Colossians 3:3-4 and\u00a0our thoughts\u00a0on heaven to go to heaven in.
