Let us look today at<em><strong> the robe of the\u00a0holy and the beloved<\/strong><\/em>. These are two titles that Paul\u00a0gives those who have put on the new man. The word holy means the\u00a0set apart ones. Peters said\u00a0be ye\u00a0holy even as God is holy. This is a robe that sets us apart and tells the world that we are Christlike. The other title is the beloved. This is the pet name God the Father uses for God the Son. This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased. This really magnifies our position in Christ.
