Let us\u00a0muse today from Colossians 4:1 were we have an admonition for employers to give<\/strong><\/em>. The employer is told to do what is just and equal\u00a0for those work for\u00a0him. They should be given a full day’s pay\u00a0for a full day’s work. The laborer is worthy of his hire. This is so for the worker in the world as well as the pastor in the church. The Lord closes these verses with the reminder that the employer has a master in heaven. Those who own or run a business as well as those over the church should never forget in our position of being over, we are also under the God of heaven.
