The speech should always <em><strong>be with grace<\/strong><\/em>. Grace is giving to others that which they do not deserve. Let our speech not reek\u00a0of harshness, criticism, and gossip, but may\u00a0it be filled with\u00a0 Christ. When\u00a0<em><strong>salt<\/strong><\/em> is added, it has three\u00a0 effects. One it spices things up. As we speak of Christ certainly let us be honest, but not boring. Another use of\u00a0salt is to keep out rot or corruption. May our conversations never be profane. The last used for\u00a0salt\u00a0is to cause\u00a0one to thirst.
