Paul here mentions Demas, I feel to\u00a0encourage him to go\u00a0on with the Lord. It is just a few years later he will give this\u00a0sad report in\u00a0II\u00a0Timothy 4, <em><strong>Demas hath forsaken me having loved this present world<\/strong><\/em>. The word <em><strong>forsake<\/strong><\/em> means to leave others in a lurch. Lord, raised up in the church those who are\u00a0willing to encourage\u00a0the weary and lift up the feeble in spirit less they\u00a0leave never to return. This is probably one of the greatest epidemic at the\u00a0church\u00a0today which\u00a0is of those\u00a0quitting who\u00a0have for a time been faithful.
