Archippus was the son of Philemon the owner of the slave Onesimus. He is probably the pastor of this church. Paul reminds him that this ministry is not a business but a calling.\u00a0He has\u00a0 received it\u00a0as a<em><strong> gift<\/strong><\/em> from God. The word\u00a0<em><strong>heed<\/strong><\/em> gives us the\u00a0idea that we need to guard that which God has called us to. If we see it is\u00a0as a gift\u00a0and guard it with all our heart, we will see the growth of fruit mentioned in the words of Paul when he says, that thou shalt fulfill it.
