This will be a long under taking. There are\u00a012 of the Minor Prophets. They are not minor because of importance, but only minor\u00a0in size or length. We will begin today to look at <em><strong>Hosea.<\/strong><\/em>After King Solomon died\u00a0the nation split into two parts. The southern kingdom was made up of\u00a0 two tribes and was\u00a0called the kings of Judah. The northern kingdom called the kings of Israel were made up of the other 10 tribes. We find that the southern\u00a0kings were more spiritual while greater wickedness was\u00a0found in the northern kings of Israel.\u00a0Hosea\u00a0 was called to preach to the northern\u00a0kings for\u00a040 years before they were swallowed\u00a0up by Assyria.
