There is no better word of admonition but that found in verse one\u00a0from the words<strong><em> come, and let us return unto the Lord<\/em><\/strong>. Let us as God&#8217;s people always be moving in His direction. In verse three we are reminded that we can enter into a greater and deeper <strong><em>knowledge<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0if we follow or press towards the Lord and to\u00a0know\u00a0Him more intimately. He speaks in verse 3b that if we press to know Him we will experience <strong><em>the latter and former rain<\/em><\/strong>. This is that rain that causes the crops\u00a0and vegetation to break forth from the ground. The rain in the Bible is a portrait of the Holy Ghost.
