In this text we find<strong><em> the discipline example.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Our Lord brings to our\u00a0remembrance\u00a0\u00a0 <strong><em>Jacob\u00a0the heel grabber<\/em><\/strong>. <strong><em>Jacob\u00a0is the one who\u00a0struggled all his life\u00a0to get what he already had.<\/em><\/strong> He was promised the birthright of\u00a0 the older son, but he struggled all his life to get what he already had. In verse four it was only when he wrestled with the Lord and\u00a0God changed his name\u00a0to Israel did he realize\u00a0all his struggles had been in vain. We\u00a0who are saved\u00a0receive all that Christ has and is\u00a0in our position but, we often spend our time\u00a0 struggling to get what we already have been given because we are in Christ.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Let us muse today from\u00a0Hosea 12:3-4\u00a0 and a section I have entitled I stand amazed.
