It is Matthew 24: 44 which says ,Therefore\u00a0 be ye also ready for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. I see here there must be <em>a \u00a0personal preparation<\/em>. (be ye) We can not get any \u00a0one else ready but our self. I noticed to there is<em> a \u00a0practical preparation<\/em>.(also ready) One of Jonathan Edwards&#8217; resolves he made as a 20 year old boy and lived his life by them was, &#8221; I resolve, never to do any thing, which I should be afraid to do, if I expected it would not be above an hour before I should hear the last trump. That my friend is ready. I see to in our verse <em>a percise<\/em> <em>preparation<\/em>. ( such an hour&#8230; think not) May the Lord not come and find me with no thoughts of Him. I see to <em>a promise of preparation<\/em>. (the Son of man cometh) I don&#8217;t know the when, but I am sure that He is coming.
