I will call chapter 14\u00a0a chapter of <strong><em>future promises<\/em><\/strong>. In 14:1 there is the promise of<strong><em> a returning plea<\/em><\/strong>. The word<strong><em> return <\/em><\/strong>here means to come back to the starting. point. The point\u00a0here mentioned is\u00a0to the Lord thy God. The promise is if they will return He will take away their iniquity. There is also <strong><em>a receiving promise<\/em><\/strong>. The Lord says if we return\u00a0He will receive\u00a0us graciously. Grace is God&#8217;s unmerited flavor. How can we\u00a0dare continue in sin and stand afar off from the Lord. Let us return and He will forgive and receive us with grace.
