The Lord has asked them to do three things during these days and\u00a0we look today at the third which is <strong><em>believe His promises<\/em><\/strong>. In verse 18 we find the Lord shew pity upon His people. He tells them in verse 21 fear not, verse 20\u00a0 be not afraid, in verse 23 be glad. How can they reach these places in such a time of national trouble? It will only be as they lean upon\u00a0His promises. In verse 20 the Lord says that He will remove the enemy and in verse 25 I will restore the years the locus have eaten. The ultimate promise is in verse 27 and the Lord says and you will know that\u00a0I am in your midst and\u00a0there is no God besides Me and you shall never be ashamed.
