Let us remember these books are called minor only because of their size and not their importance. Amos lived and\u00a0preached about 40 years after the ministry of Elijah and Elisha. The miracle workers Elijah and Elisha pointed men to God&#8217;s wonders, but Amos would perform no miracles, he would only<strong><em> pointed men to God&#8217;s word<\/em><\/strong>. He was the master of repetition. Some of his repetitious statements were, <strong><em>for these transgressions and four, because, therefore, yet have ye not returned,\u00a0hear the word, I will, seek, and through.<\/em><\/strong> It would be nice to circle these as we read and see the treasures the writing prophet continued to hammer on the anvil of truth.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Let us\u00a0muse again today from the book of Amos one of the\u00a0minor\u00a0prophet.
