In verse 6A\u00a0we find <strong><em>a serious state<\/em><\/strong>. Israel has also crossed God&#8217;s mercy line of patience.\u00a0I John 5:6 tells us the greatest sins or ones done among the people of God. They are called by John\u00a0a sin unto death. In 6b-12 we find <strong><em>a sinful state<\/em><\/strong>. Their treatment of the righteous and poor were beyond forgiving. Their moral restraint was at the lowest\u00a0when a\u00a0father and son would go to the same temple harlot. They would even\u00a0tempt one with wine who had separated themselves\u00a0and taken the Nazarite vow. In verses 13-16\u00a0Amos gives <strong><em>a spoken state <\/em><\/strong>when for the remaining of his time he would give his attention to Israel. He\u00a0reveals a defeat\u00a0of war for their future.
