This phrase<strong><em> hear\u00a0the\u00a0word that the Lord has spoken<\/em><\/strong> is a powerful thought. One thought I would bring to our attention\u00a0is found in\u00a0the word<strong><em> hear. <\/em><\/strong>We cannot hear unless God gives us\u00a0ears to hear. I was reminded of this principle in the story of Cain and Abel. Both of these boys were taught by their parents\u00a0Adam and Eve\u00a0that God only accepted a blood sacrifice.\u00a0The Bible said that only\u00a0Abel by faith offered the blood sacrifice.\u00a0Faith comes only by\u00a0 hearing and that\u00a0of hearing\u00a0the word. The word\u00a0 is singular. It is a Rehma\u00a0a special word\u00a0for an individual people. The last\u00a0thought is that this is not\u00a0Amos&#8217; words, but God used him as the\u00a0hand and\u00a0mouthpiece to say what He wanted him\u00a0to say.
