One thing we have already seen from Amos was\u00a0<strong><em>to hear\u00a0God&#8217;s word<\/em><\/strong>. The second we find in our text is<strong><em> to seek\u00a0the Lord<\/em><\/strong>. Isaiah said to seek the Lord while He may be\u00a0 found. The phrase is used 30 times in the Bible. The\u00a0term means to\u00a0pant after Him. It also has the\u00a0idea of abandon our thinking, feeling, doings, and set them upon Him alone. When one forsakes his thinking he will have the mind of Christ. When one forsakes his doings\u00a0he will find the ways of Christ. When one forsakes his feelings he will then know the desires of Christ.
