God says in\u00a0our text\u00a0<strong><em>I will restore<\/em><\/strong>. I know some do not believe in an earthly\u00a0thousand year reign of\u00a0Christ literally upon the earth. There sure is a good argument in this text for this believe. He says he will restore David&#8217;s dynasty. The people will be restored to their land. They will live in peace and rest. I see from the text they will never lose their land again. It sure seems like it would behoove us to keep our\u00a0eyes on this little nation of Israel. All around\u00a0them there is\u00a0no\u00a0friend ship\u00a0for God&#8217;s people. It looks like they could go down, but be assured God will restore his people to their land again. What a way for the old fig picker\u00a0to end his book\u00a0by looking for the reign of\u00a0the Lord\u00a0and the restoration of David&#8217;s throne to Christ alone.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Let us muse today on\u00a0an ending text\u00a0from Amos 9:11-15 and a final affirmation from Amos.
