I want to deal with the question today\u00a0of <strong><em>who was Jonah<\/em><\/strong>? II Kings 2: 25 tells us that he was from a very small Galilean\u00a0town located 4 miles from Nazareth. He was a prophet during the days of Jeroboam\u00a0II.\u00a0He was called the first preacher to the Gentiles in Nineveh. This really puts down the foolish words of the Pharisee&#8217;s in John 7:52 when they said,\u00a0out of\u00a0Galilee arises no prophet. This certainly proves they didn&#8217;t know the Scripture as well as they thought they did. <strong><em>Let us search the Scriptures daily and see if these things be so or not<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Let us begin today our journey of musing from\u00a0the book of Jonah.
