On six different occasions we find the phrase the <strong><em>word of the Lord came unto him<\/em><\/strong>. We see this phrase or a phrase in a fact similar that tells us that God speaks to his prophet. The\u00a0phrases are in\u00a01:1, 2:10, 3:1, and 4:9-10. I am surely glad that we have a God\u00a0who \u00a0speaks to us. He speaks to us through the Word of God and makes divine\u00a0impressions\u00a0upon our\u00a0heart. How can we\u00a0expect God to\u00a0speak to us when we do not spend daily quality time in His Word.
