The whale was 45 foot long, had a 38 inch throat area , and weighed 30,000 pounds. There is also the evidence of a man by the name of James Barclay a whale hunter being swallowed by a whale and several days later being found in the whale’s belly when the whale was killed. He said he could breathe but the heat was almost unbearable.
