In verse 6b-\u00a07a Jonah is going down, he is fainting, and\u00a0then he\u00a0remembered the Lord. The word Lord is the covenant keeping great I am<strong>. <\/strong>He realized at this time his prayer had arrived in the holy Temple of God. The other promise is in verse 9C of chapter 2 when Jonah said, <strong><em>salvation is of the Lord<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0Oh how many believe salvation comes through the decision of man,the\u00a0choice of his free will\u00a0or his coming to God, when Jonah clearly says it is of none of these, but salvation is of the Lord.
