In verse one we find that Jonah is exceedingly displeased and angry with God because of His saving of Nineveh. I feel this anger probably steams from three things. One is <strong><em>Jonah sees himself as a ruined prophet<\/em><\/strong>. The Old Testament says if a prophet prophesied and it does not come to pass\u00a0then he is a false prophet and worthy to be stoned. Jonah cared little for Nineveh and less about God&#8217;s work, but he is greatly concerned about the fact of\u00a0is reputation being ruined.
