It is here <em><strong>Jonah sees God as a righteous person. <\/strong><\/em>Jonas said the reason <strong><em>I fled to\u00a0Tarshish\u00a0was because I knew that\u00a0\u00a0thou art\u00a0a gracious God, merciful, slow to anger, of great kindness, and change your mind about showing evil.<\/em><\/strong> Would it not have been great if Jonah had shared these thoughts with the folks at Nineveh? Jonah\u00a0saw these\u00a0attributes of God as a loss instead of a gain. How terrible\u00a0it is when we know so much about God, but never tell it to those we meet along the way. We are often angered when we see God&#8217;s blessing those we dislike and disagree with.
