Remember they are called minor because of their size and not about their importance. <strong><em>Micah mean means\u00a0who is like Jehovah?<\/em><\/strong> In chapter 7 we find he\u00a0is from the village or Maresheth near Gath about 25 miles south west of Jerusalem. He preached primarily to Judah with one\u00a0mention of Samaria. He preached to Jothan, Ahaz, and Hezekiah all\u00a0kings of Judah. He spoke of the coming of Asyrian takeover. David in his days in\u00a0ll Chronicles\u00a012 tells\u00a0about a group called the men of Issachar who\u00a0had an understanding of the times.\u00a0They would let Israel know how they ought to respond to particular situations. <strong><em>Micah although a man from the country was such a man who had an understanding of the times.<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0Oh that God would raise up some in this hour that would tell us what thus saith the Lord.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Let us begin today our walk down through the minor\u00a0prophet\u00a0by the name of Micah.
