In this point we see <strong><em>a declaration of desecration.<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0In verse 6 Micah\u00a0turns his attention to the northern kingdom called Samaria. In verse 7C\u00a0he sees their worship\u00a0as that of a harlot worship. It was much like the Hindu religion of today. Young girls were taken in and made temple prostitutes. A relationship with one of these girls constituted worship. In verse eight Micah saw them after the Assyrian army had been through. The only thing that could be heard was the\u00a0howl of the wild animal and the hoot of an owl. <strong><em>Let our nation who\u00a0\u00a0so willingly and openly\u00a0except the false religions of the world\u00a0look well\u00a0to the desecration of the Samaritan worship.
