There is a third point to this message we are calling <strong><em>a declaration of destruction<\/em><\/strong>. Micah uses puns and poetry to express this destruction. In verse\u00a010 the word Gath means tell it\u00a0and Micah says\u00a0tell it\u00a0not in tell-town.\u00a0In verse 10\u00a0the phrase at all is\u00a0used with weep not and\u00a0has the idea \u00a0of weep not in weep-\u00a0town. The next town is mentioned in verse 10 and it\u00a0is Aphrah\u00a0which means dust. Micah says roll\u00a0in the dust at dust-town. He mentions\u00a0Saphir\u00a0in verse 10\u00a0which means beauty and he says\u00a0beauty\u00a0is shamed\u00a0at beauty-\u00a0town.\u00a0The town Zaanan\u00a0means freedom to go out and Micah says no going out from out-town. The name\u00a0Bethezel\u00a0means friend\u00a0or neighbor and Micah says no neighborliness in neighbor-\u00a0town. In verse 12 Maroth\u00a0 is mentioned which means bitter tears and Micah says no one with\u00a0bitter tears at\u00a0 bitter-\u00a0town. In version 12 he mentions\u00a0Jerusalem which means\u00a0peace and he says there will be no peace at peace-town. In verse 13 Lachish\u00a0is mention which means horse and he says the horsepower\u00a0 is gone from horse-town. In verse 14 he mentions Achzib\u00a0which means false and he says fase\u00a0hood reigned\u00a0at false-town. In verse 15 he mentions\u00a0Mareshah which means the possessions and he says there are no possessions left in possession-town. Micah ends with\u00a0Adullam which means testimony and he said\u00a0 there is no testimony\u00a0in testimony-town. My how God does\u00a0spell out His judgment upon His wayward people.
