Today while waiting we give attention to the wonder of God. Paul speaks of those he will find in the presence of the Lord at His coming. These would be people that God used him to channel to them the gospel. I remember a bank tellar some time ago being saved and after conversations at the drive thru window. Finally one Monday she said I got saved yesterday and it is all your fault. Will ther be any in the Lord’s presence at His coming, who are there because of you? Paul said they would be the wonder of hope for him. Hope speaks of confident expectations. Paul speaks of them as his wonder of joy. Joy is great meeriment. Paul will find great joy in those saved because of his ministry. They would also be his wonder of a crown. As a matter of fact Paul called them his crown of rejoicing. Oh, to have a part in any one coming to know our Lord will gives us great cause to rejoice over there. Paul also found in them his wonder of glory. Glory speaks of the weighty presence of God, the highest of praise, and to bare the likeness of another.
