The Lord\u00a0gives the prophet 3 assignments one of which is <strong><em>declare the word<\/em><\/strong>. There are\u00a0<strong><em>five woes<\/em><\/strong> given clearly by Habakkuk in this declaration of the word. The fourth was a woe about <strong><em>drunkenness and sensual behavior<\/em><\/strong>. Let us be careful with strong drink. There is so much discussion about what the Bible teaches about abstinence and freedom to drink in moderation. There is one area that cannot be refuted and that is the\u00a0ideas of\u00a0the evils that accompany strong drink. In first Corinthians 6:10 we are told that no drunkard will inherit the kingdom of God. This intoxication in the book of\u00a0Habakkuk led\u00a0to the\u00a0sensual behavior of nakedness. Oh how the two often go hand-in-hand.
