The one mentioned here is of\u00a0<strong><em>a destructive\u00a0battle<\/em><\/strong>. We are told in verse 14 that the day of the Lord is closer than we think. Zephaniah says in verse 15 it would be a day of\u00a0wrath, trouble, distress, waste, desolation, darkness, gloominess, and\u00a0 clouds of darkness. The Lord says in verse 12 their blood will be poured out like dust and their flesh will be like dung. He\u00a0tells them\u00a0in verse 18 all the riches of silver and gold will not spare them from the\u00a0day of\u00a0the Lord.
