{"id":2311,"date":"2011-07-15T00:00:53","date_gmt":"2011-07-15T00:00:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tomgilliam.wordpress.com\/?p=2311"},"modified":"2023-09-01T00:27:30","modified_gmt":"2023-09-01T00:27:30","slug":"gods-anger-marked-cear","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tomgilliam.com\/?p=2311","title":{"rendered":"God&#8217;s Anger Made Cear"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Let us muse today from Zephaniah 3:2-8 and <strong><em>God&#8217;s kingdom dealings<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0On yesterday we spoke of <strong><em>God&#8217;s anger<\/em><\/strong>. Today I point out\u00a0three things made clear by God&#8217;s anger. One is found in verse two\u00a0and it\u00a0is <strong><em>a sinful people<\/em><\/strong> made clear.\u00a0Zephaniah said they obeyed not His voice, received not his correction, trusted not,and drew\u00a0\u00a0not near the Lord. In verses 3-4 we find there is <strong><em>a godless leadership made clear<\/em><\/strong>. The nation was corrupted politically and religiously. In verses 5-8\u00a0there is hope\u00a0the fact that there is <strong><em>a holy God made clear<\/em><\/strong>. We find Him in the midst. He cause them to fear\u00a0and wait upon Him.\u00a0He said I&#8217;ll gather all the wicked nations and pour out the fire of\u00a0My wrath\u00a0upon them.
