In our text today we find <strong><em>a testimony of rebuilding.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Haggai address his\u00a0testimony of rebuilding to\u00a0<strong><em> Zerubbabel whose name means born in Babylon.<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0He was the governor or political leader of the promised land. Joshua\u00a0 was the high priest\u00a0and the son of the\u00a0high priest who was the religious leader when Israel fell into captivity.<strong><em>\u00a0Haggai&#8217;s name means\u00a0festive or one who sows in tears\u00a0that he might reap in joy.<\/em><\/strong> He is probably an old prophet with a\u00a0burden heart\u00a0writing to a couple of permanent old\u00a0dead fixtures in the promised land about getting closer to God. Sounds like a Baptist church where the pastor spends much of his time trying to get folks to continue who\u00a0have never commenced.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Let us muse today from Haggai 1:1b and a section I have entitled a call to rebuild.
