The word fellow used to describe the smitten Shepherd means one united to another by the possessions of a common\u00a0nature, rights, and privileges. The shepherd who is here killed\u00a0causing the sheep to be scattered is none other than the\u00a0Son of God who is the good\u00a0shepherd,\u00a0 the great Shepherd, and the Shepherd and Bishop of my soul.
