Let us muse\u00a0once again\u00a0today from Malachi 2:1-4\u00a0and a\u00a0section I have called the Lord’s announcement<\/em><\/strong>. It is in our text we find God’s commandment<\/em><\/strong> to the priest of that day.\u00a0It was intended\u00a0to awaken them from their wicked ways. The Lord said if they failed to obey that He would bring them to\u00a0great shame and then death. The great shame would involve the dung from the animals being rubbed all over their faces.\u00a0In verse\u00a0three\u00a0they will then be taken away. Our Lord deals harshly with\u00a0those that handled the\u00a0sacred things of God lightly and fail to obey Him as Lord.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
