Today I turn our attention to <strong><em>the perception of a\u00a0self effort\u00a0in our storms<\/em><\/strong>. Our text says that He saw them toiling and rowing in their storm. There is no Bible account were anyone ever reached shore\u00a0by rowing. It speaks of a self effort.\u00a0In Ezekiel\u00a027 the Bible says the rowers brought them to the midst of the sea and the\u00a0east wind broke up the ship.\u00a0In Jonah&#8217;s\u00a0storm\u00a0they rowed\u00a0but could not reach shore.
