Let us muse again today from Matthew 14:27-28 and Peter’s perception problem<\/em><\/strong>. I am pondering today Peter’s learning of discernment<\/em><\/strong>. It is here in verse 27 our Lord says to\u00a0 them\u00a0be of good cheer, it is I, be not afraid. Peter’s response to Him was if<\/em> <\/strong>it be\u00a0Thou bid me come to Thee on the water. I was interested in the word\u00a0if which indicates Peter has no idea that it is\u00a0Him. These words of fear not and be of good courage should be to an immature Christian the words of Christ. They should have\u00a0at the least\u00a0known the sound of His voice.\u00a0Oh how\u00a0sight living let us miss Him\u00a0when He speaks to us through His promises.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
