We are looking at <strong><em>Peter&#8217;s lonely denial and the speech of denial.<\/em><\/strong> We see so much of ourselves in Peter&#8217;s life, which was a life filled with sight living. I noticed in verse 18 and 25 Peter is warming himself beside the world&#8217;s fire. When we find our comfort with the world&#8217;s crowd\u00a0it can be extremely dangerous. It is here that Peter lies three times in verse 17, 25, and 26 when he says he does not know who\u00a0Jesus is. In verse 27\u00a0the cock crows\u00a0and fulfills Jesus words to Peter.
