We are looking in these days at <strong><em>the position of humanity<\/em><\/strong>. Our text tells us that it is not only a dead state but<strong><em> a dreaded state<\/em><\/strong>. In verses 2-3 we are told sinners will walk in the footsteps and do the work of their father the devil. We should not be surprised when unconverted sinners act like their daddy the devil. We should not be shocked when our children even the little babies act like their daddy the devil. Jesus told us in John 8:44 ye\u00a0are of your father the devil and\u00a0the lust of your father ye will do. Sinners without a work of grace will only act like their father the devil.Why I often see traits of my old man the devil still in me\u00a0and it causes me to cry out to the Lord let there be less of me and more of you Lord.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Let us muse again today from Ephesians 2: 1-3 and the before and after picture of grace.
