The word quicken is akin\u00a0to\u00a0 the Greek word Zoe which means full of life. I have a granddaughter by this name whose life testifies to being full of life. What a before and after picture to go from rotting, decomposing flesh, to being full of life. My friend this pictures for us the great change that grace has on the dead sinner. In Ezekiel\u2019s valley of dry bones in chapter 37 we find that the dead bones never live until there is an effectual Word from God accompanied by the Holy Ghost the Wind of God and then and only then do the bones begin to live. It is so with the sinner there will be no conversion until there is an effectual Word of God to the sinner\u2019s heart accompanied by the birthing power of the Wind of\u00a0God the Holy Ghost\u00a0and then and only then will the sinner live.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Let us continue to muse today from Ephesians 2:1-5 and a before and after picture of grace.
