We are looking in these days at <strong><em>the provision of deity.<\/em><\/strong> We have looked at the provision of life and grace and now we look at <strong><em>the provision of faith<\/em><\/strong>. Paul tells us that faith is a gift of God. Does God give this gift to all? If He did all would do it. Peter says that by Him speaking of Christ we do believe. Matthew Henry said the word believe in this text is a noun and not a verb. When God saves the sinner He doesn&#8217;t give him the ability to believe and then wait to see if he will do it but He performs the act of making him a believer by which God is assured that he will believe.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Let us muse again today from Ephesians 2:8 and the before and after picture of grace.
