Let us muse today from Luke 1:14-15 and the people whom God fillls with the Holy Ghost.<\/em><\/strong> We will today begin to look at the birth of John<\/em><\/strong> and the birth announcement. I am told that his birth will bring joy, gladness and many will rejoice at his birth. The reason for this joy is that he will be great in the sight of the Lord and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink. Is it not interesting that one whom God fills with His Spirit will be one who refrains from alcohol in any form? In this day of social drinking even among believers it is amazing the Lord makes this emphasis upon one who is filled with the Holy Spirit that he would refrain from drinking wine or strong drink.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
