Let us muse today from Luke 1:39-41 and the people whom God fills with\u00a0the Holy Ghost and the birth of John.<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0Mary arose and went to her cousin Elizabeth’s house and\u00a0as soon as Elizabeth heard Mary speak John leaped in her womb and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost. Oh how the presence of\u00a0 Immanuel in His virgin born\u00a0womb can fill one with the Holy Ghost. This happened to Elizabeth without her expecting or asking for it, such is the work of the Holy Ghost, He fills the most unlikely candidates. I remember\u00a0a night\u00a0in the late 70s in Saluda, North Carolina in the service when\u00a0God kicked the bottom\u00a0end out of me,\u00a0emptied me\u00a0of myself, and filled\u00a0me with\u00a0the Spirit and all the measure of success I have had in the ministry has its roots in what happened that night.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
