I would like to look today at the<strong><em> precious blood.<\/em> <\/strong>Let us look at <strong><em>a reminder of this\u00a0precious blood<\/em><\/strong>. I see in our text <strong><em>the reminder of the cost of this precious blood.<\/em> <\/strong>The word precious means rare, a treasure beyond calculation, and one of a kind. Our blood is not precious but His is. There is no blood like His. His blood is sinless, without spot or stain. His blood did not come from an earthly dad\u00a0 but\u00a0from a\u00a0heavenly Father. I would also mentioned\u00a0<strong><em>a reminder of calculation of this precious blood<\/em><\/strong>. The word precious is used seven times in first and second Peter which is the number for perfection. We cannot see God unless we are perfect. Jesus said in Matthew 5:48 be ye\u00a0perfect even as my Father in heaven is perfect. There is a fountain filled with blood drawn from Emmanuel\u00a0veins and\u00a0sinners plunge beneath that flood <strong>lose all their guilty stains<\/strong>.
