It\u00a0has been called by some not the Lord&#8217;s prayer but <strong><em>the high priestly prayer<\/em><\/strong>. It is connected with a portion of Scripture, John 13-17 which make up our Lords last night upon the earth. This section is called the holy of holies in John&#8217;s Gospel. Once they leave the upper room, go outside into the night, and before the arrest He offers this prayer. If our Lord&#8217;s\u00a0thoughts in His darkest hour was to turn His attention to\u00a0acknowledging the Father how much more should we do the same.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Let us begin today a journey of musing from John 17.
