In our text today we have <strong><em>the defining of\u00a0eternal life.<\/em><\/strong> The word know is a word of intimate knowledge or a desire to become one with another. The one who has eternal life is not one who has been down the Romans Road, prayed a prayer, or made a profession but the one who is actually seeking to know\u00a0in an intimate way\u00a0God who is the Father and His Son whom the Father sent.
