We looked already at the subject of the revelation of salvation and those to whom He is revealed. Today I see in our text <strong><em>a characteristic of those to whom he has been revealed<\/em><\/strong>. He says of them they have<strong><em> kept thy word<\/em><\/strong>. The word\u00a0kept means to watch or guard as a military Sentinel would guard\u00a0a prisoner to keep them from escaping. It means to keep an eye\u00a0on or\u00a0to have eyes only for it. It means to hold fast and handle with great reverence.
