In our verse of study for today we find <strong><em>a request for\u00a0keeping.<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0Our Lord prays for us His people\u00a0that the Father would keep us through His name. The word keep means to keep the eye upon, to fortress\u00a0about like a military sentry, and the root is to keep unmarried. The last definition to keep unmarried is not an earthly marriage but\u00a0a spiritual marriage of falling in love with this world and losing sight of our future marriage to\u00a0the Son\u00a0of God.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Let us continue to muse today from John 17:11 and the high priestly prayer.
