Let us muse today from John 17:12 and the high priestly prayer<\/em><\/strong>. In our text today I am drawn to the phrase son of perdition or son of hell<\/em><\/strong>. Judas was nicknamed this to fulfill the Scriptures. Long before Judas was ever born Psalms 41:9 tells us that he as a friend\u00a0 would turn on Jesus. We are told\u00a0in Psalms 109 that Satan would stand at Judas right hand,\u00a0Judas’ days would be few, another would take his office as a disciple, that he would be condemned, and his prayers would become sin. This was all decided before Judas ever took a breath upon the earth.\u00a0What a\u00a0God of\u00a0sovereignty we bow before and worship this day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
