We&#8217;re studying the text for the idea of <strong><em>a masked faith and\u00a0find it is\u00a0masked to deity.<\/em> <\/strong>We find that one will grow up out of\u00a0dry ground and\u00a0be both a tender plant and a the\u00a0root. One cannot be the root and the plant, yet our Lord said that He was the root and offspring of David. Christ said that David sprang from\u00a0Him and\u00a0He sprang from David. He claimed to be David&#8217;s\u00a0Father and David&#8217;s son all at the same time. One cannot be all of this\u00a0unless He is both God the Father and God the Son.
